Vanessa and Angela Simmons support 'Operation Thin Mint' at The Mall at Prince Georges' Shoe City!
Shoe City, Pastry, the Sneaker Suite, WPGC 95.5 FM and The Girl Scouts Organization are all pleased to announce ‘Operation Thin Mint’, a community enrollment initiative focusing on recruiting girls and volunteers in the Metropolitan area into the Girl Scouts Organization.
Girl Scouts USA will meet and greet with potential girl scout members and volunteers at The Mall at Prince Georges Shoe City on Saturday, July 26th at 2 pm.
Vanessa and Angela Simmons, CEOs of the Pastry line, will be on site to co-host the recruitment initiative; signing autographs and sneakers- including the not-yet released Pastry X Girl Scouts Thin Mint (White) Fab Cookie sneaker due for release 7/26/2008 – and registering girls into the Girl Scouts organization.
Operation Thin Mint, A Gift of Caring Project, is a community service and leadership experience program that will allow girls opportunities to discover, connect and take action! In addition to the enrollment drive, all attendees participating in ‘Operation Thin Mint’ will have the opportunity to pre-order girl scout cookies! And, for each girl that registers into the program, Pastry will offer a lucky individual an opportunity to win a 50 inch flat screen TV!
